We are looking for a talented and passionate Mobile Developer to join our team on a longer-term project with our client. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high performance mobile applications for Android platforms. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences that drive engagement and innovation. This role is a contract with an option to hire, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship or work with 3rd parties at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for Android (Kotlin/Java).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for performance, usability, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs to ensure smooth functionality.
- Stay up to date with emerging mobile development trends and best practices.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and cloud platforms.
Requirements:
- 10 years of overall IT experience with 6+ years of professional mobile development experience.
- Proficiency in: Kotlin/Java and Android Studio.
- Knowledge of JAVA SDK versions 18 or above.
- Strong understanding of MVVM mobile app architecture.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform Services/API’s.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with Android TC57 Operating system and Android Tablets – Zebra TC57.
- Previous experience working on Supply Chain, Proof of Delivery, Transportation Management, or Warehouse Management Systems.
