  • Senior Terraform Engineer

    Capstone IT is helping our client find a Senior Terraform Engineer who will lead the design, development, and governance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform in a cloud environment. This person will build and maintain reusable Terraform modules, support production infrastructure changes, integrate Terraform into CI/CD pipelines, and help establish best practices for safe, scalable cloud automation. The role also serves as a technical leader, mentoring engineers and participating in cloud architecture decisions.

    This is a 6-month contract-to-full-time employee opportunity. The role is fully remote for the first 12 months, after which the candidate will be expected to relocate to Springfield, MO and work on-site. Long-term remote employment is not available, so candidates must be open to relocation as part of the position.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.

    • 4+ years of hands-on Terraform experience.
    • Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD pipelines.
    • 4+ years of cloud platform experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
    • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.

    Nice to Have

    • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
    • Terraform certifications.
    • Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or similar automation tools.
    • Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to architecture decisions.

  • Business System Consultant – Digital Platform Migration

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Consultant to support large-scale digital platform and website migration initiatives. This role will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, facilitate decision-making, coordinate cross-functional workstreams, and ensure successful delivery of content management system (CMS) migration efforts.

    The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis capabilities, experience supporting digital transformation projects, and the ability to drive alignment across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead business analysis activities for digital platform and CMS migration initiatives.
    • Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
    • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder meetings to drive decisions and resolve dependencies.
    • Partner with business and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable delivery plans.
    • Coordinate activities across multiple migration workstreams, including content migration, site configuration, testing, and launch readiness.
    • Track project risks, dependencies, priorities, and stakeholder alignment throughout the migration lifecycle.
    • Develop and maintain migration support artifacts such as site inventories, readiness checklists, requirements mappings, and decision logs.
    • Create executive-ready status reports and stakeholder communications highlighting progress, risks, issues, and milestones.
    • Support handoff activities to development and QA teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment.

    Required Qualifications

    • Strong background in business systems consulting and business analysis, including requirements elicitation and documentation for digital platform implementations.
    • Proven experience facilitating cross-functional teams and driving business decisions for medium to large-scale initiatives, especially website or CMS migration projects.
    • Experience partnering with business and technical stakeholders to support platform migration efforts.
    • Strong project coordination and organizational skills, including managing dependencies, timelines, risks, and stakeholder alignment across multiple workstreams.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience creating executive-level presentations and facilitating workshops using modern collaboration tools.
    • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
